I am glad to announce that the donation of Teddy Bears to the Holy Name Medical hospital, pediatric department, was a success.
Thank you to everyone that donated a teddy bear to give a sick child hope.
We were able to deliver 101 bears on March 3rd, 2012.
We were greeted by the nurse, Elizabeth, at the Pediatric department. There were 3 tall carts filled of bears, which were all transported to a safe place in the hospital.
According to a letter received from the director of the Annual Giving foundation, all the bears were distributed to the sick children.
I hope the teddy bears will bring them a smile and hope as I know how sad it is being in a hospital bed.
I hope to collect some more bears soon and deliver them to other institutions.
